January 23, 2016
The Virginia Aquarium’s Whales & Wildlife Sea Adventures Boat Trips are an exciting way to spot marine wildlife in the Virginia Beach area, and they make truly exciting weekend excursions for residents of Midway Manor. Whether you want to help your kids learn to appreciate the ocean’s creatures or just check out these majestic creatures yourself, people of all ages will be mesmerized by this exciting trip.
On a Whales & Wildlife Sea Adventures Boat Trip, you’ll climb aboard the Atlantic Explorer to take a 2.5-hour boat tour in search of whales, dolphins, seals and other marine life. Experienced naturalists from the Virginia Aquarium lead you on your voyage, and while they don’t guarantee sightings, they know all of the spots where these mammals like to swim. You can expect to see the back or tail of a humpback whale, a fin whale, or a group of bottlenose dolphins, and you’ll almost always see seabirds like Northern gannets and ruddy ducks.
