Looking to Usher in the Holiday Season at Midway Manor? Attend the Holiday Parade at the Beach!
December 1, 2015
If you’re already getting excited about the holiday season at Midway Manor, you’ll be thrilled to find that one of the area’s most popular holiday events takes place in just a few days! Virginia Beach’s annual Holiday Parade at the Beach will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 5, leaving just enough time for the area’s community groups to strut their stuff in the season’s finest before the whole town lights up for the holidays.
At the Holiday Parade at the Beach, more than 80 unique parade units will walk, ride, and dance their way down Atlantic Avenue to the delight of local residents. Marching bands play the sounds of the season while giant balloons float overhead; lighted floats and equestrian units are quite the sight to see against the backdrop of twinkling lights; and talented dance troupes put on performances that you certainly won’t want to miss. At the end of the night, the kids can even catch a glimpse of Santa Claus himself before he and his reindeer set to work preparing to travel the globe on the big day!
