Run to Beat Breast Cancer During the Komen Race for the Cure, Taking Place at Neptune Park Near Midway Manor on Oct. 10
October 1, 2015
Not only does the Komen Race for the Cure encourage a sense of solidarity and support among breast cancer survivors and those affected by the disease, the annual race helps raise money toward a cure. So you can rest assured that your registration fee of $35 will go toward breast health programs and breast cancer research.
Want to show your support, Midway Manor? This year, the Komen Race for the Cure will take place at Neptune Park, kicking off with a Survivor Ceremony at 7:55 a.m. Then, promptly at 8:30 a.m., racers will take their mark by the race course's starting line. Don't feel pressured to run for speed, however: you may also walk the course. In fact, children of all ages are invited to take part, so bring along your strollers — and don't forget to dress in pink!
